Positive Care and Support was formed to help address the shortage of providers within the sector providing care and support to adults with complex care and support needs. Our organisation focuses on those for whom commissioning authorities have the most difficulty in providing suitable placements. Either through lack of appetite from existing providers or the general shortage of specialist provision. Where we provide a service, we will go the extra distance to achieve success for all, maintaining ‘Stickability’ and confidence during times of crisis.
We provide solutions across the Northeast, Cumbria and Yorkshire, working with commissioners to build effective relationships and develop the types of local services that they require in their area. We operate both on and off framework as a provider of services to a specialist service user group.
Whilst we do not provide housing, where accommodation options are required, we have strategic partnerships with experienced and reputable developers and Registered Providers of housing to deliver sector leading housing options that must facilitate aspirational living for the people with whom we work and ensure effective care and support provision.
Our goal is to become the “Go to” provider for local authority and NHS commissioners looking for bespoke solutions for those most in need of quality care and support.
